In an effort to help mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus Pandemic, we are asking that patients and staff alike, follow the advice of the Alaska Department of Health and Social Service AlaskaDHSS and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention CDC.GOV. Click on these trusted websites for up to date information.

As of August 5, 2021, due to the recent increase in COVID cases, many of our providers at Willow Medical & Wellness have gone back to Telemedicine only. Some of our providers will continue to offer the option of in-person visits, but masks will be required during your appointment. All of our providers are still available for appointments via telemedicine. Please call us to discuss which options your provider is offering.

Unvaccinated individuals may be allowed in-person visits on a case by case basis. We ask that you discuss this with your provider first, as our staff will need confirmation from your provider prior to scheduling an in-person visits for you.

Telephonic appointments can be arranged under special circumstances such as with Medicare patients or individuals that do not have access to telemed technology. We encourage you to keep your appointments as your mental health is an absolute priority to us, especially during this pandemic.

The True North TMS team has resumed TMS treatments as of May 4th, 2020 with strict safety protocols in place. Dr. Telford is also available to be seen via telemedicine when appropriate.

Please review our current policies and procedures  at Willow Medical &Wellness for COVID-19 mitigation as of April 2021:

  • We are currently offering FULLY vaccinated patients (defined as "2 weeks since your last dose recommended for your vaccine") the option between in-person or telemedicine appointments.
  • Please confirm in-person visits verbally with our staff and fill out a COVID Questionnaire and Waiver Form within 24 hours of EVERY in-person visit. This form can also be found in CLIENT FORMS.
  • Please call us from the parking lot upon your arrival for your appointment. Our staff will call you to let you know when your provider is ready for you to enter the Lobby.
  • Please no family members or guests allowed unless specifically approved by your individual provider due to clinical necessity.
  • Hand Sanitizer will be available for you at the entry or you may wash your hands with soap and water in our Lobby facilites.
  • We ask that you wear a mask at all times.
  • Your temperature will be taken by your provider upon entry.
  • Please maintain 6ft distance with other clients/staff to the extent possible.

For your protection and safety, we are taking measures to screen patients at risk or with active symptoms of COVID-19. We have installed UV filters in our Central HVAC system. We have additional HEPA/UV filters through out the building. We have created a socially distanced Lobby area and removed magazines. There will be no beverage/snack service for the time being. We have implemented routine cleaning protocols to ensure that frequently touched areas are sanitized and cleaned. We have made our intake and check-out process as touchless as possible. All of our forms can be filled out online.
