Dr. Ha offers telemedicine  on a case by case basis for those in the state of Alaska.

Dr. Ha is a University of Washington trained psychiatrist who has been treating mental health issues for Alaskans for over 20 years, providing outpatient diagnostic evaluations, pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy for adults (18 years and older) Dr. Ha specializes in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, attention deficit disorder, adjustment disorders, life transitions, somatic and pain disorders and women’s mental health issues.

Dr. Ha was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology in 1994 and her medical degree in 1999 from the University of Washington, Seattle. Dr. Ha began her psychiatry residency at the University of Hawaii and completed her psychiatry training at the University of Washington. Dr. Ha came to Alaska in 2002 via the WWAMI program as a fourth year resident. Since 2003, Dr. Ha has practiced outpatient psychiatry at Southcentral Foundation, Providence Behavioral Medicine Group North, and Behavioral Medicine of Alaska. Although she grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and has lived in Seattle and Honolulu, she is proud to call the beautiful state of Alaska her home.

Dr. Ha opened Willow Medical & Wellness in September 2008 with the goal of collating an exceptional group of individual psychiatrists and therapists to offer expert psychiatric services to the Anchorage community. In 2018, on the 10th Anniversary of Willow Medical & Wellness, Dr. Ha collaborated with Dr. David Telford, current medical director of the Providence Mental Health Unit, to form True North TMS at Willow Medical. Located on the second floor of Willow Medical & Wellness, True North TMS provides Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy, an effective and FDA approved, non-medication alternative treatment for refractory Depression and OCD, delivered by local and board-certified psychiatrists.

In 2021, we sadly said goodbye to Dr. Ha’s chocolate poodle, Willow, who worked in the office with Dr. Ha for most of her outpatient career. She will be missed by all. Fortunately, Willow's intern, Ruby, has carried on  her mission of napping and relaxation. Ruby is a fluffy, soulful, angel in poodle form that can bring a smile on even the most stressful of days.
